Area Girls Basketball: Glenz reaches 1,000 in win

VERNDALE--Jordyn Glenz recorded her 1000th career point with her 23-point performance for Verndale in their 71-35 defeat of the Hillcrest Lutheran Comets Thursday night.

VERNDALE-Jordyn Glenz recorded her 1000th career point with her 23-point performance for Verndale in their 71-35 defeat of the Hillcrest Lutheran Comets Thursday night.

Glenz becomes the fourth Pirate girls player to reach the milestone. She joins Raya Kern, Teresa Moenkedick and Shania Glenz on the list.

Sarah Moenkedick scored 15 points for the Pirates and Shania Glenz added 10 points and 10 rebounds.
