Area Girls Basketball: Loiland scores 1,000th point in C-I victory

CROSBY-Crosby-Ironton senior Shyanne Loiland registered 16 points to reach 1,013 in her career as the Rangers beat the Aitkin Gobblers 56-49 Thursday, Dec. 6.

Loiland joins eight other Ranger girls to reach 1,000 points including Robin Rude in 1985, Alicia Stockard 1991, Nicole Hills 1993, Katie Galovich 2001, Kim Rosecrans 2004, Jana Anderson 2011, Chelsey Bonsante 2013 and Jamie Nelson in 2018.

Kaija Davies was the leading scorer for the Gobblers with 18 points in the Mid-State Conference game.
