Area Girls Basketball: Moore scores 1,000th point for Hornets

ANKENY, Iowa - Marlee Moore scored her 1,000th point as the Lake Region Christian Hornets crushed Faith Christian 56-14 in the second game of the Faith Baptist Bible College tournament Thursday.

Moore finished with a game-high 15 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Liz Anderson and Grace Imdieke each added 12 points for LRCS.

In Thursday's first round, Anderson and Imdieke each scored 12 and Moore nine as Lake Region blew out Owatonna 57-14.
