PEQUOT LAKES — Ten different Pequot Lakes Patriots found the scoring column to lead the No. 3 seeded Patriots to a 78-45 Section 7-2A opening-round victory over the No. 14 seeded Aitkin Gobblers Thursday, March 18.
Kelsi and Maci Martini and Afton Crocker all scored 12 points to lead Class 2A’s 13th-ranked Patriots, who have won seven straight.
The Gobblers were led by Teagan Piecek’s 12 points and Ella Janzen scored 11. Ally Ehnstrom added nine points for Aitkin, which finished the season at 4-15.

Jacey Rydberg added 13 points and Josie Schaefer scored 10 for Class 2A’s 15th-ranked Rangers, who have won four straight.
