Area Girls Basketball: Pierz gets narrow section win over Pillager

PIERZ — Amaya Rocheleau led the Pierz Pioneers with 12 points in a 55-51 win over the Pillager Huskies in a Section 7-2A matchup Thursday, Feb. 13.

Emily Sadlovsky added 11 points for Pierz and Courtney Strohmeier contributed 10.

Juliana Ewald drained five 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 22 points for the Huskies.

Pierz has won five straight and Pillager has lost four straight.
