Shelby Adkins led Pine River-Backus in scoring with 10 points.

The Tigers saw their six-game winning streak come to an end.

It was just the second win in the last seven games for the Pirates.

It was the third straight loss for Gobblers who beat Braham 46-40 Jan. 16.

Aitkin is 13-3 in the conference, 18-7 overall, and has wrapped up second place in the conference.
