Area Girls Basketball: PR-B finish unbeaten in conference

LAPORTE - Shelby Adkins collected 16 points and eight steals for the Pine River-Backus Tigers, who ended their Northwoods Conference season undefeated with a 76-34 win over the Laporte Wildcats Thursday.

The Tigers have won six straight and finish their conference schedule 14-0.

They beat Laporte 77-21 Jan. 6 and are 18-6 overall.
