DULUTH-Olivia Lane tossed in 19 points and grabbed 16 rebounds for the Subsection 1 No. 2-seeded Pequot Lakes Patriots, who were eliminated 62-43 by the Subsection 2 top-seeded Proctor Rails in the semifinals of the Section 7-2A tournament Wednesday at Minnesota-Duluth.
Bre Sewall added 15 points and five assists for Pequot Lakes. She tallied eight of her points in the first two minutes of the game for an 8-0 Patriots start, and Pequot had its biggest lead at 19-8 eight minutes into the game..
Proctor went on a 14-0 run to take the lead for good at 22-19 and led 26-21 at halftime.
"Both teams had their shots, they just made theirs," said Pequot head coach Katrina Moody.
Proctor drilled 23 of 43 field goals (54 percent), including seven of 14 three-pointers, while Pequot shot just 35 percent from the field (17 of 49) and hit on only five of 16 threes (31 percent).

The Patriots beat Proctor 71-69 in overtime in December at Pequot. They finish 18-11 and won eight of their last nine going into the semifinals.
