Area Girls Basketball: Tigers roar past Verndale

PILLAGER — Ramsey Tulenchik hit for 28 points to lead the Pine River-Backus Tigers to a 54-33 win over Verndale at the Fornshell Classic Tuesday, Dec. 21.

Reagan Ludovissie scored nine points to lead the Pirates.

Hannah Barchus added 12 points for the 5-3 Tigers.

Kiara Kern was named to the all-tournament team for Verndale and Tulenchik for PR-B.
