Little Falls seventh-grader Abby Turkowski is tied for seventh with her 91. Pierz's Katie LeBlanc is tied for 14th with a 98. Crosby-Ironton's Isabella Severson is tied for 19th with her 100.

BEMIDJI-Pequot Lakes freshman Mikaela Jones opened the Section 8-2A tournament with a 35th-place 106 at Bemidji Town and Country Club Monday, June 3.
Detroit Lakes leads the team tournament with an opening-round 320, which is 30 strokes better than second-place Perham. DL's Maddie Herzog opened with a 77 for individual honors.
