NISSWA-Alix Peterson fired an 84, leading the Cardinal girls to third place Wednesday, May 9, in the Staples-Motley Cardinal Invite at Cragun's Legacy Courses.
Peterson's round was good for fourth place behind medalist Abbie Kelm of Bemidji, who came in at 77.
Rounding out the scoring for S-M were Adriana Dickey (89), Bo Erholtz (94) and Ava Schneider (105).

Aitkin's Gaulke-McMillan tie for 2nd
MORA-Aitkin's Heather Gaulke and Ellie McMillan teamed up and shot a 76 to tie for second Wednesday in the 23-team Mora Invite.
The duo carded a 40 on the front and came in with a 36 on the back. According to Aitkin coach Ann Erlandson, it was by far their best showing of the year so far.
Aitkin did not have a second pair for team scoring. Moose Lake won with a team score of 157 and Braham was second with 164.
