WALKER-Arianna LeMieuer, Caitlyn Gutzman and Ella Peterson each scored a goal for the Northern Lakes Lightning who assured themselves of at least a share of the Mid-State Conference title with a 3-0 conference win over the Park Rapids Panthers Thursday, Jan. 17.
The Lightning finish 5-1 in the conference, while 4-1 Prairie Centre wraps up its conference play Tuesday, Jan. 22 against Park Rapids (0-17).
The Lightning put 75 shots on goal while Northern Lakes goalie Maddie Wahoske blocked all six shots she faced for the shutout.

WILLMAR-Kylee Hopp netted the only goal for the Prairie Centre Blue Devils in a 9-1 loss to the Willmar Cardinals in a Section 6-1A contest Thursday, Jan. 17.
Hopp's goal in the third period slipped past goalie Bryton Carlson who took over the net for the third period.

Willmar scored five first period goals while outshooting Prairie Centre 20-5 to take command early.
Mackenzie Och recorded 30 saves for the Blue Devils who were outshot 39-20.
