LONG PRAIRIE-Caitlyn Gutzman netted a pair of goals for the Northern Lakes Lightning who moved into a tie for first place in the Mid-State Conference with a 4-2 win over the Prairie Centre Blue Devils Tuesday, Jan. 15.
Northern Lakes and Prairie Centre are tied with 4-1 conference records. The Blue Devils beat the Lightning 2-1 Nov. 27.
Rose Aldridge and Hayden Boelter accounted for the other Lightning scores.
Kylee Hopp and Savannah Lowe found the net for Prairie Centre.
Northern Lakes outshot the Blue Devils 33-19 with Lightning goalie Kate Stephens recording 17 saves and Prairie Centre goalie Mackenzie Och making 29.
