Area Girls Hockey: Lightning rally to top Lakers

DETROIT LAKES — Riley Fogarty punched in the winning goal on a power play with 1:14 left to play for the Northern Lakes Lightning in a 3-2 win over the Detroit Lakes Lakers Tuesday, Feb. 23.

Detroit Lakes led 2-0 before Maya Christensen put the Lightning on the board with a power-play goal in the second period and Kiana Landt added the equalizer midway through the third.

Kate Stephens collected 31 saves for Northern Lakes.
