Area Girls Hockey: Lumberjacks skate past Lightning

CROSBY — Hayden Boelter collected her sixth goal of the season in the Northern Lakes Lightning’s 5-1 non-conference loss to Class 1A’s fourth-ranked Cloquet-Esko-Carlton Monday, Dec. 23.

Boelter was assisted by Alyssa Kosloski. It’s Kosloski’s fourth assist of the season and eighth point.

Northern Lakes was outshot by CEC 29-5. Goalie Kate Stephens corralled 24 saves.

The Lumberjacks (11-2) have won 10 straight. They haven’t lost since a 3-1 defeat by the hands of Brainerd/Little Falls Nov. 23.
