Area Girls Hockey: Prairie Centre bucks the Broncos

WADENA-Kylee Hopp was one of four players to find the net for Prairie Centre in a 4-1 win over International Falls Saturday, Jan 12.

Hopp's goal at 15:45 of the first period got the Blue Devils on the board. Shelby Otte and Reece Ritter each scored second-period goals and Ally Ecker closed out the scoring in the third period.

Prairie Centre tallied 12 total shots for the game.

Mackenzie Och kicked away 14 of the 15 shots she faced.

ST. PAUL-Emily Brunkhorts's goal at 1:43 Saturday tied the game at 1-1, but Moorhead scored goals in both the second and third periods to defeat Northern Lakes 3-1 Jan. 12 at the North Dale Recreation Center.

The Lightning outshot the Spuds 30-13.
