PAYNESVILLE-Kylee Hopp scored the only goal for the No. 5 Prairie Centre Blue Devils who saw their season come to an end with a 6-1 loss to the No. 4 River Lakes Stars in the quarterfinals of the Section 6-1A tournament Friday, Feb. 8.
River Lakes outshot the Blue Devils 41-19. Prairie Centre goalie Mackenzie Och recorded 12 saves, but gave up five goals before giving the net to Isabelle Hovel with 5:15 left in the second period. Hovel finished with 23 saves and one goal allowed.
