ALEXANDRIA - Chloe Deutsch and Alexa Holm netted goals for the No. 4 Northern Lakes Lightning who saw their season end with a 5-2 loss to top-seeded and Class 1A's 11th-ranked Alexandria Cardinals in the Section 6-1A semifinals Tuesday night.
Holm and Deutsch were also credited with assists along with MacKenzie Rickard.
The Lightning were outshot 33-19 with goalie Madison Galligan making 28 saves.
Northern Lakes finishes 8-18.
