LITTLE FALLS — Kendal Swantek kicked in five goals for the Little Falls Flyers who won their home opener 8-0 against St. John’s Prep Monday, Aug. 31.
Ella Bjorge contributed a goal and two assists. She converted a free kick into a goal from 30 yards out over the head of the keeper.
Mikayla Houdek opened the scoring just over a minute in and also finished with two assists. Breanna Barchus finished the scoring for the Flyers at the 74-minute mark.
“The starting defense of Hannah Jennings, Ellie Smieja, Sally Dempsey and Breanna Barchus was up to the challenge tonight,” Little Falls head coach Scott Orians said, “They didn’t allow a single shot on goal all game.”
Ana Steadman got the win in net for the Flyers.
