Area Girls Soccer: Flyers trounce Melrose 10-1

MELROSE--Rachel Gold totaled three goals and an assist as the Little Falls Flyers rolled to a 10-1 win over Granite Ridge Conference foe Melrose Thursday.

Aria Kapsner finished with two goals and two assists in the Flyers' win. Trista Theimer and Ellie Smeija both collected their first career assists. Grace Peterschick, Sierra Kicker and Annika Bjorge all scored their first career goals.

The Flyers held the Dutchmen to just six shots on net, while the Flyers put 25 shots on the Melrose keeper.
