Area Girls Swimming and Diving: Mora tops Little Falls


Mora 103.5, Little Falls 83.5

OGILVIE -- Layla Williams won two events for the Little Falls Flyers who were defeated 103.5-83.5 by the Mora Mustangs in a Granite Ridge Conference meet Thursday, Sept. 26.

Williams finished first in the 200 individual medley and posted the fastest time in the 100 butterfly.

Emma Gustafson won the one meter diving competition.

Staples-Motley loses to Park Rapids

STAPLES -- Two third-place relay teams were the top finishers for the Staples-Motley Cardinals in a 111-37 Mid-State Conference loss to the Park Rapids Panthers Thursday, Sept. 26.

Evelyn Gonzalez, Sabrina Moe, Adriana Dickey and Mia Arroyo placed third in the 200 medley relay. Destiny Dukowitz teamed up with Moe, Gonzalez and Dickey to finish third in the 400 free relay.
