STAPLES-Lili Schneider and Emily Veronen won events for the Staples-Motley Cardinals in a 95-73 loss to Morris Thursday.
Schneider won the 100 breaststroke with a season-best of 1:17.21. Veronen paced the 100 backstroke with a 1:10.50.
Cardinal runners-up included the 200 medley relay of Emily Veronen, Schneider, Autumn Nelsen and Aleeah Halverson at 2:07.30; Schneider in the 200 free; and Veronen in the 500 free at 6:20.04.
Thirds went to Joelle Bounds with a 29.51 in the 50 free, Adriana Dickey in the 100 butterfly, Aleeah Halverson at 1:05.18 in the 100 free and Joelle Bounds in the 500 free at 6:34.09.
