MORA -- Bella Severson went 3-0 in No. 4 singles for Crosby-Ironton girls tennis Friday, Aug. 16, at the Mora Invitational.
In doubles, Severson and her partner Isabel Viginiri went 3-0 in No. 3 doubles. Tori Decent and Kalina Spalj went 2-1 in No. 1 doubles for the tournament.
As a team, C-I lost all three of their matches 3-4 against Mora, Duluth-Marshall and Eveleth-Gilbert.

PIERZ -- Maddie Andrea went undefeated in No. 3 singles for Pierz girls tennis Friday, Aug. 16, in their triangular matches with Little Falls, New London Spicer and Staples-Motley.
No. 3 doubles Maddie Gall and Maddie Hoheisel also went undefeated as Pierz was able to win two of their three matches.

PEQUOT LAKES -- No. 1 singles Megan Muller and No. 2 singles Courtney Boller both went 2-0 in their matches against Osakis and Thief River Falls Friday, Aug. 16, for Pequot Lakes girls tennis.
Carly Chaney and Quinn Trottier also went 2-0 in No. 3 doubles as Pequot Lakes starts their season with four straight wins.
