STAPLES - Quinn Uhlman's 3-set victory at No. 4 singles enabled the Staples-Motley Cardinals to edge the Park Rapids Panthers 4-3 in a Mid-State Conference meet Thursday.
Uhlman lost the first set 7-5 but regrouped to win the last two 6-4, 6-4.
Other Cardinal wins were from the doubles teams of Lauren Nelson-Lexi Johnson, Claire Wolhowe-Katie Benson and Kelsie White-Tatum Williams.
