Area Golf: Krieger and Foley compete in the 2nd round of Women’s Am

Former Brainerd graduate Anna Krieger shot a second round 85 at the MGA Women’s Amateur Championship Thursday, July 28, at Rochester Golf and Country Club.

Krieger is now tied for 34th at 20-over after her first round of 77 Wednesday. She parred five holes on her front nine to shoot 41.

Recent Brainerd graduate Katie Foley shot another 84 in her second round to be tied for 51st at 26-over.

Foley tallied her lone birdie on the 11th hole which helped her shoot a 41 on the back nine.
