EAST GULL LAKE — Troy Getchell, Josh Bacon, Ron Getchell and Mark Waverek shot a net 60 to win the 2-4 net team event Thursday, May 12, during Madden’s Men’s league.
Scott Juranek, Joe Ellstrom, Thomas Juranek and Jerry Gumphrey finished second with a net 66.

The Thursday, May 19 event will be 5:30 p.m. at Madden’s Pine Beach West Course. The event is a 1-man scramble. There will be three flights based on handicap.
Whitefish men
PEQUOT LAKES — Dave Nielsen, Mike Fogarty, Bill Johander and Dean Brandt combined to win the 2x4 event Tuesday, May 11, during the Whitefish Men’s League.
Jason Lewis, Mike Milbrath, Dave Nelson and Larry Raisbeck placed second followed by the team of Mike Sitzer, Darrell Swanson, Duane Helfenstein and Bruce Rickert.
Craig Lunde and Frank Roedl were closest to the hole winners while Rick Kastner and Bob Beatty sank the longest putts.

PEQUOT LAKES — Nancy McEnroe, Nancy Einan and Nancy Schmidt kicked off the Whitefish Women’s 18-hole League with a scramble victory May 11.
Helen McGrath, Barb Holubar, Maxie Riches and Enga Wodziak finished second.
