Beck Erholtz of the Vintage at Staples fired a 74 to earn co-medalist honors in an MGA Players’ Qualifier at Greystone Golf Club Wednesday, Aug. 5, in Sauk Centre.
Erholtz tied with Gage Stromme of Golden Valley Country Club to land a spot in the tournament scheduled for Aug. 17-19 at Hastings Golf Club.
Whitefish men
PEQUOT LAKES — Paul Beilfuss and Paul Schmidt combined to win the two-person best ball Stableford Tuesday, Aug. 4 for the Whitefish men’s league.

Don Faust and Don Craig finished second and Frank Roedl and Roger Jensen placed third.
Terry Stansfield and Gary Kippling won the second flight followed by Mike Fogarty and Bill Johander in second and Don Skalman and Gary Amundson in third.
John Rappath and Larry Swanson combined to capture the third flight. Steve Holubar and Larry Raisbeck placed second and Mike Einan and Chuck Hicks were third.
Tom Otteson and Ric Rowe were closest to the pin winners and Johander and Jerry Moore made the longest putts.
Whitefish women
PEQUOT LAKES — Pat Kline was followed by Nancy McEnroe, Cathay Munger and Lori Stegink Wednesday, Aug. 5, at the top of the leaderboard for the low net on par 4s event in the Whitefish Women’s 18-hole league.
Mimi Swanson was the top player in the second flight. She was followed by Myra Faust, Cheryl Bontrager and Pat McKee. Nancy Schmidt won the third flight with Virginia Sitzer, Lisa Cline and Sandy Meyer behind her.

Kline carded the low individual round with a net 69.
Debbie Enger, Kline, Barb Hanson and Sherrie Adam all made birdies.

Ben Jilek, Glencoe, aced the 128-yard 15th hole of Jack’s 18 at Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge Friday, Aug. 7, using a pitching wedge.
Mike Peckstamp, Sauk Rapids, aced the 165-yard 14th hole of The Classic at Madden’s Resort Friday, Aug. 7, using a 5-iron.
