PEQUOT LAKES — Tom McGrath and Keith Bettes combined to win the first flight of the two best ball net play Tuesday, Sept. 1, for the Whitefish men’s league.
Paul Beilfuss and Jim Bydlon were second and Steve Ogren and Paul Schmidt placed third.
Mike Fogarty and Rocky Wilske won the second flight with Paul Kaufenberg-Tom Schroeder in second and Ron Kitzmann-Bill Bell in second.
The third flight went to Tom Baker and Mike Rancour. Mike Einan-Chuck Hicks finished second and Al Falconar-Sam Kantos were third.
Bettes and Beilfuss were closest to the pin winners and Kitzmann and McGrath drained the longest putts.

PEQUOT LAKES — Nancy Einan, Pat McKee, Lori McCormick and Joi Brandt captured the Wednesday, Sept. 2, reverse cha cha cha game during the Whitefish women’s 18-hole league.
Second place went to Lisa Cline, Paula Gulliford, Anita Stensby and Teresa Nelson. Mimi Swanson, Helen McGrath and Joan Kantos placed third.
Einan carded the low net round with her 70. Diane Giefer and Dorie Kaleva each made a birdie.
