Tom Otteson, Keith Bettes, Richard Hanson and Mike Carnahan finished first June 28 in the two best balls out of four event in the Whitefish men's league.
Finishing second was the team of Don Skalman, Gary Kipling, Bob McKee and Duane Ambuhl. Also placing second was Steve Ogren, Ross Kaleva, Neil Mcewen and Ed Bontrager.
Bob Beatty, Sam Kantos, Gordy Fischer and Henry Duitsman were third.
Closest to the pin winners were Mike Einan and Jim Rauenhorst. Longest putt went to John Bruder and Mike Einan.
Whitefish women
Deb Enger, Rox Thompson, Dorie Kaleva and Mary Kay Kendall shot a 124 to win the cha cha cha game June 29 in the Whitefish women's 18-hole league.
Second place went to Helen McGrath, Cheryl Bontrager, Pam Musielewicz and Judy Eastwood.
Mary Moakley, Nancy McEnroe, Pat McKee and Joi Brandt finished third.
Enger and Thompson carded net 67s for the individual low nets. Honorable mention went to Betsy Otteson with a 68 and Shari Loechler with a 70.
Enger and Barb Hanson chipped in for birdies. Thompson marked down two birdies. Anita Stensby, Moakley, Lori McCormick, Patty Kline and Myra Faust also had birdies. Dar Bonnema sank a chip-in.
There is no league play July 6. Cause Day will be July 27 in support of Mid-Minnesota Women's Center in Brainerd.
Madden's women
Kay Fitterer and Vicki Swanson shot the low team score during the June 23 women's night at Madden's Resort.
Charlene Waverek made the longest putt and Pam Sandelin was closest to the pin.
Kalli Funk made a birdie.
Women's Night Out at The Spa, a 9-hole event on the back nine at Pine Beach East, begins with a 4:30 shotgun start Thursday. Mini spa services will be at The Spa at Madden's from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Black Bear Women
Jane Bigalk won the low net event June 30 in the Black Bear women's nine-hole league.
Sue Riley placed second and Carol Lovro finished third.
Riley used the least amount of putts with 13 and had a chip-in and also made the longest putt.
Lovro carded a birdie.
GVL Outing results
Three teams tied for first in the Mutt and Jeff game during the Grand View Lodge Women's Outing June 28.
First-place teams were Naomi Brockhoff, Jan Choromanski, Diane Fogarty, Joni Gutknecht, the team of Sue Amerman, Sue Anderson, Julie Hofius, Paula West, and the team of Karen Williams, Joan Baker, Judy Anderson and Marian Duffy.
Second place went to Barb Elmquist, Pearl Peterson and Betty Ramsbacher.
The team of Denise Laudenbach, Elaine Youngquist, Estelle Paulson, Marilyn Sobiech tied the team of Donna Motzko, Chris Lee, Betsy Egan and Cheryl Swanson.

Brad Vold and Steve Messerschmidt teamed up to win the low gross competition during the Monday night scramble June 27 at Eagle's Landing.
Second place went to Jeff Smith and Wyatt Carr. Third were Nick Dahl and Ryan Stadum.
Low net honors went to Vic Sofie and Rey Swanson.

Peggy Tautges shot a 40 and Jessica Thielen 41 for the low gross scores in the Wednesday night women's league at Eagle's Landing June 29.

MGA News
Recent Staples-Motley High School graduates Emily Israelson and Dakota Waverek combined to tie for the team title in the 26th annual MGA Mixed Team championship June 28-29 at Valleywood Golf Course in Apple Valley.
The duo shot rounds of 66-63 for a two-day 129, which tied them with Trent Peterson and Olivia Herrick for first. Waverek-Israelson rallied from a shot behind after the first round.
Last year, Emily Israelson finished second in the event playing with her younger brother Andrew Israelson.
Femling fundraiser
Eagle's Landing Golf Club will host a Bruce Femling Lung Transplant fundraiser July 11.
