Brad Holland's nine points paved the way for Shep's on 6th to defeat Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union 31.5-12.5 May 10 and claim the top spot on the Cragun's Legacy Courses men's league standings.
John Berg added 8.5 points and Jeff Hilborn and Sam Holland both scored seven points to give Shep's a .75-point edge over Reichert Bus, which defeated Edward Jones 24-20.
Select Therapy was the biggest mover of the week as it posted a 36.5-7.5 victory to move into third place.

Legacy women
It was a good day to be named Kathy May 8 on the Dutch Legacy course despite the rain.
Kathy Coombs drained the longest putt and Kathy Wernberg hit the longest drive during women's night at Cragun's Legacy Courses.
Sharon Myhre was closest to the pin and Lyn Carner made the longest putt on the Par 3 Course.

Whitefish men
The foursome of Darrell Swanson, Sam Kantos, Steve Holubar and Jeff Baumgartner captured the May 9 low net-high net game for the Whitefish men's league.
Paul Beilfuss, Bill Carlson, Jim McKeehen and John Rappath were second followed by Paul Schmidt, Jim Rauenhorst, Paul Kaufenberg and Marsh Pechauer.
Gary Kipling and Duane Ambeuhl were closest to the hole winners. Rocky Wilske and Steve Holubar sank the longest putts.
Whitefish women
The season-opening event for the Whitefish Women's 18-hole league was called off because of weather May 9, but they'll be back at it Wednesday, May 16, and most Wednesday mornings this season.
Both team and individual events are scheduled, as well as a team match play tournament, a season-long qualifier for the Shoot Out Tournament, the League Championship, and the WOW (Women of Whitefish) event, where both 9- and 18-hole women's leagues have an opportunity to socialize and golf together.
