Mills GM, last week's top team, slipped into second place following a 24.5-19.5 loss to People's Security.

Von Hanson's Meats moved into third place with a 24.5-19.5 win over Randall State Bank 19.5.

Breezy Point women

Joi Brandt, Judy Thomas and Ruth Klukow tied for first during the "Lucky Seven" game of the day June 9 in the Breezy Point Women's League.

Second place went to Janie Pommer.

Third place was a six-way tie between Polly Aumock, Sandy O'Day, Bunny Oseland, Colleen Rawlings, Bugs Schmidt, and Sylvia Schmitt.

Whitefish men

Greg Jorvig and Steve Ogren teamed up to win the two-man best ball First Flight title June 7 in the men's league at Whitefish Golf Club.

Mike Finley-Bob Beatty were second in the First Flight with Jim Rauenhorst and a blind draw finishing third.

Bill Johander-Dave Lobben won the Second Flight followed by Bob McKee-Keith Bettes in second and Sam Faust-Tom Boyce in third.

Third Flight title went to Sam Kantos-Joe Fitter. Ed Bontrager-Warren Kleinsasser placed second with Henry Duitsman-Ross Kaleva third.

Kaleva and Faust made the longest putts and Jim Thompson and Rauenhorst were closest to the pin.

Whitefish women

Pat Kline shot a 48 to win the T-E-N-S event June 8 in the Women's 18-hole league at Whitefish Golf Club.

Kline was followed by Barb Holubar's 51 and Barb Hanson's 53.

Flight B went to Helen McGrath's net 50. Joan Kantos was second with 55 and Cheryl Bontrager third with 56.

Myra Faust and Pat McKee shot 53 to tie for the first in Flight C. Enga Wodziak was third with a 55.

Shari Loechler shot a 51 to win Flight D. Carol Germann shot 53 and Joi Brandt a 54.

Kline's total net 68 was the low round. Holubar shot a 70.

Faust, Hanson, Holubar made birdies. Holubar's was a chip-in and Kline carded two birdies. Other chip-ins were made by Connie Weber and Sherrie Adam.

Carol Lovro's low net of 36 paced the Black Bear women's 9-hole league June 9.

Tying for second were Eileen Springer and Vivian Palmer with a low net 37.

Carol Lovro had a chip-in on No. 8 and Cathy Switajewski chipped-in on No. 3.

Sharen Hilliard and Carol Lovro birdied No. 9.

Eagle's Landing women

Peggy Tautges' 38 and Darlene Swedin's 41 were the low gross scores in the Wednesday Night Women's League June 8 at Eagle's Landing.

Sue Kloeckl was closest to a pin and Sue Kloeckl were closest to a pin, Kathy Thompson hit the longest drive and Darlene Swedin sank the longest putt.

Eagle's Landing men

Greg Balego's 75 was the best 18-hole low gross score June 9 in the Thursday Night Men's League at Eagle's Landing.

Following Balego were Carl Hendrickson with a 77, Brett Thompson 78 and Billy Indihar 78.

In 18-hole low net competition, Mike Katzenberger shot 65 and Chuck Shaw 65.

The 9-hole low gross winner was Jon Smejia with a 37 and Alex Paschall was runner-up with 41.

In 9-hole low net competition, Chad Ploof carded a 28 and Luke Hoskins 29.

Jay Felton made the longest putt, Doug Host was closest to a pin, Wayne Baierl and Chad Ploof recorded the closest second shots and Baierl was closest to a pin.

Eagle's Landing scramble

Steve Wiltse and Terry Gavin, Tom Younghans and Howie Person and Jeff Smith and Wyatt Carr were the low gross pacesetters June 6 in the Monday Night Scramble at Eagle's Landing.

Low net leaders were Kathy Toensing and Chad Paulson, Jerry Jacobs and Marv Pelkey and Scott Campbell and Nate Grotzke.

Kathy Toensing had the longest drive, Scott Campbell the closest second shot, Shawn McLain was closest to the pin and Mark Sell had the longest putt.

Fairways at Howard's Barn

Mac Curtis and Merrilyn Enabnit won the handicap event June 7 at the Fairways at Howard's Barn.

Women's league meets 8:30 a.m. Tuesdays with a 9 a.m. start. All women are welcome.

Holes-in-one

James Kron, Baxter, aced the 102-yard ninth hole of Bobby's Legacy at Cragun's Legacy Courses June 5 using a gap wedge.

Paul Heinlen, Baxter, aced the 264-yard par-4 16th hole on Bobby's Legacy at Cragun's Legacy Courses June 6 for a double-eagle. He used a driver.

Mike Toensing, Baxter, aced the 157-yard 12th hole on the Dutch Legacy at Cragun's Legacy Courses May 23 using a 7-iron.

Nathan Peterson of White Bear Lake aced the 151-yard 11th hole at Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge Lakes Course June 10 with a 9-iron.

Mark Tustin, Winnipeg, Manitoba, aced the 171-yard fourth hole on the Dutch Course at Cragun's Legacy Courses June 13 with a 5-iron.
