PRIOR LAKE — Alex Stone of Crosswoods Golf Course shot an 8-over 80 Tuesday, June 16, in the qualifier for the MGA Women’s Amateur Match Play Championship at The Wilds Golf Club.

Stone’s 80 landed her in 11th and she’ll compete in the 32-player Championship flight of the match-play format, which will begin Wednesday, June 17.

Whitefish women

PEQUOT LAKES — Cathy Munger, Connie Weber, Paula Guilliford and Judy Eastwood won the June 10 low total game event for the Whitefish Women’s 18-hole league.

Barb Hanson, Roxanne Thompson, Luann Rickert and Nancy Einan placed second followed by Lori Stegink, Mimi Swanson, Nancy Schmidt and Marguerite Baker.

Einan carded the low individual net round with a 67.

Munger carded two birdies, Kathy Coombs and Rickert each had a birdie.
