Von Hanson's Meats scored a 31-13 win over Mulligan's to grab the lead in the Legacy Men's League June 16 at Cragun's Legacy Courses.

American National vaulted from fifth to second with a 34-10 win over US Bank.

Mills GM dropped from second to third despite a 24-20 win over Giovanni's Pizza.

Shep's on 6th, last week's leader, slid to fourth place after a 29-15 loss to .925 Silver.

Pequot Tool 2 and Hack Attack changed places in the Breezy Point Men's League standings June 15.

Hack Attack, last week's second-place team, surged into first with a 12-6 win over TMT.

Pequot Tool, which led the league entering June 15 play, fell into second place despite a 10.5-7.5 victory over Billy's 3 which remained third.

Breezy Point women

Judy Thomas won the individual game of fairways and putts during the June 16 Breezy Point Women's League played on The Traditional.

There was a 2-way tie for second place between Connie Colon and Kathy McTague. Third place went to Colleen Rawlings and fourth to Janie Pommer.

Whitefish men

Tom Otteson, Tom Boyce, Art Kosiba and John Larsen won the 2x4 ABCD team event June 14 in the Whitefish Men's League.

Second place went to Arlen Stensby, Bill Carlson, Fred Skog and Henry Duitsman. Third was Darrell Swanson, John Rathman, Dale Frandsen and Bil Anderson.

Closest to the pin were Tom Otteson and Keith Bettes. Longest putts were by John Larsen and Bill Johander.

Whitefish women

Carol Germann and Nancy McEnroe tied for first with net 71s June 15 during the Whitefish Women's 18 Hole League Mutt and Jeff event.

Cathy Munger and Barb Holubar tied for first in Flight A with a net 32. Third place went to Mimi Swanson with 33.

In Flight B, Nancy McEnroe was first with net 28. Rox Thompson shot 29 and Nancy Schmidt 33 for second and third, respectively.

Marguerite Baker was first in Flight C with net 28. Second went to Ginnie Sitzer with 31 and third to Carol Germann with 32.

Munger carded two birdies and Baker one.

Wednesday, June 22, the league will play its 2-person best ball invitational. The event includes breakfast, lunch, prizes and raffles. Madden's women

Kali Funk and Rox Thompson both carded birdies on the par 6 sixth hole June 16 on the Pine Beach East Course during women's night at Madden's.

Kay Fitterer sank the longest putt and Thompson was closest to the pin during the mystery color game.

Thursday will be a blind partner contest with a 5:30 p.m. shotgun start. Dinner specials will follow golf. July 7 will be the popular spa night.

Black Bear Women

Eileen Springer, Mary Lou Jacobs, Vicki Dypwich and Carol Lovro won the scramble at in the Black Bear Women's 9-Hole League June 16.

Second-place finishers were Donna Balzer, Mim Brim, Gloria Meidinger and Cathy Switajewski.

Springer, Jacobs, Dypwich and Lovro had 11 putts for the fewest putts of the day.

Eagle's Landing scramble

Steve Wiltse and Terry Gavin combined for the low gross in the June 13 Monday Night Scramble at Eagle's Landing Golf Club.

Brett Thompson and Scott Jendro placed second. Low net went to Marv Pelkey and Jerry Jacobs. Blaine Bubalo-Derick Vigor were second with Jim Einerson-Pat Einerson in third.

Rey Swanson, Kathy Toensing and Vigor were closest to the pin winners with Jordan Eckman making the longest putt.

Eagle's Landing men

Brett Thompson's 73 paced the field for the June 16 men's night at Eagle's Landing Golf Club.

Steve Messerschmidt shot 76 for second and Derek Schmeck a 78 for third.

Low net scores were owned by Bryan Hill (63) and Matt Capelle (65).

Nine-hole winners were Joe Bachan with a gross 40. Steve Grams, Tom Grams, Al Arnoldy and Jeff Hines all shot net 32s.

Schmeck and Chris Wirtz were closest to the pin. Ed Whiteford, Alex Paschall and Bachan sank the longest putts.

Eagle's Landing women

Peggy Tautges shot 44 and Vicky Shanks a 46 for the low gross scores in the June 15 women's night at Eagle's Landing Golf Club.

Sue Kloecki and Diane Tamm each shot 33s for the low net.

Lorre Reuer smacked the longest drive. Julie Schueller was closest to the pin and Kathy Thompson made the longest putt.

GVL Outing results

Doreen Robideau, Sandi Baker, Sue Amerman and Sue Anderson won the center cut game with a 19 during the Tuesday Golf League June 7 at the Woods Course at The Pines.

Second place with a 20 werer Jan Choromanski, Diane Fogarty, Linda Youngs and Marilyn Sobiech.

Third with 21s were the team of Betsy Egan, Carol Tack, Cheryl Swanson and Cheri Skrudrud the team of Sally Ekman, Kris McGrath, Katie Wallace and Sue House.

Closest to the pin were Sue Amerman and Doreen Robideau.

League play June 14 was cancelled due to bad weather.

Pilot, Williams runners-up

Claudia Pilot of Lake Shore and teammate Brenda Williams tied for second place, shooting a 3-over-par 76, in the MWGA Senior Four-Ball Tournament June 13 at Faribault Golf Club.

Leigh Klasse and Lynn Anderson, both of Keller Golf Club, won the tltle for the second consecutive year by shooting an 8-under par 65. Ellie Layton and Barb Miller tied Pilot and Williams for second.

Second-round play June 14 was cancelled due to weather and course conditions.

Klefsaas ties for eighth;

Evans 23rd

Olivia Klefsaas of Motley tied for eight place in the U.S. Girls Junior Amateur Sectional Qualifying June 16 at Victory Links Golf Course in Blaine. Klefsaas shot 78.

In boys U.S. Junior Amateur Sectional Qualifying at Victory Links June 16, Jack Evans of East Gull Lake tied for 23rd with a 149.

Israelson, Stone compete

Emily Israelson of Staples teamed with Sierra Langlie to shoot a 1-under 71 Tuesday to land in fourth place after round one of the 37th Minnesota Women's State Amateur four-ball championship at Somerby Golf Club in Byron.

The twosome trails Heather Ciskowski and Sabrine Garrison, who shot a 5-under 67.

Savannah Stone of Crosslake and Rachel Gray are in fifth place with an even par 72. Claudia Pilot of Nisswa and Brenda Williams are tied for sixth place.

The championship will conclude Wednesday.

Northwood Hills results

Aaron Dunmire's team shot a first-place 14-under par in the Garrison Area Bars Spring Open at Northwoods Hills Golf Course south of Garrison.

Team Lingwall tied Team Whillet at 12-under par for second place.

Northwood Hills will host the Fall Open in September.

Holes-in-one

Rey Swanson aced the 125-yard 17th hole on the Dutch Course at Cragun's Legacy Courses June 16 with a 9-iron.
