Little Falls 5, St. Cloud 763ers 1
ST. CLOUD-AJ Jenks pitched seven innings of one-run baseball and Adam Hallberg threw two shutout innings of relief as Little Falls swept through the Sub State 12 playoffs by defeating the St. Cloud 76ers 5-1.
Little Falls will advance to the Legion state tournament July 29 in Delano.
Jenks added a two-run single. Thomas Miller went 3-4 and Austin Weisz was 2-4. Dan Marod, made a diving catch in right field, one of many for Marod, to record the game's final out.
Pierz 4, Sauk Centre 0

PARK RAPIDS-Lane Girtz pitched a five-hit complete game shutout leading Pierz to a 4-0 victory in the championship game of the District 6 Division II championship over Sauk Centre Saturday.
Girtz struck out five and walked none. He ended the game with a pickoff throw to shortstop Matt Tautges.
Tautges led off the third inning with a single, stole second and moved to third on a sacrifice fly by Aaron Weber and later scored.
Tautges led off the fifth with a walk. Weber singled, Matt Kummet walked, Michael Meyer walked and Pierz scored three runs on wild pitches.
On Friday, Girtz finished 2-3 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored as Pierz beat Sauk Centre 5-1 in the semifinals Friday.
Preston Rocheleau went the distance. He allowed one hit, two walks and no earned runs. He struck out four.
Matt Kummet was 2-3 and Michael Meyer finished 1-2 with two RBIs.
