PIERZ-Alec Lochner held Moose Lake to three hits and no runs during Pierz's 10-0 six-inning Game One victory Friday.
Pierz captured Game Two 8-1 and Matt Kummet finished 3-3 with two RBIs and a run. Jack Suska went 2-4 with a run and an RBI. Preston Rocheleau was 2-3 with two RBI and a run and Jesse Marshik scored twice.
Kummet pitched the first three innings. He struck out five, walked one and allowed one unearned run. He didn't allow a hit. Thomas Funk pitched the final four innings. He only surrounded two hits and no walks. He struck out four.
In Game One, Lochner struck out five and walked three. He also collected an RBI and scored a run. Noah Boser was 2-3 with a double, triple, stolen base, three RBIs and two runs scored. Thomas Funk finished 3-4 with a run and an RBI. Kummet went 2-3 with a triple, run and RBI and Suska scored twice.
