She proved the only offense she needed as she went 1-2 with a double and RBI.

Jade Porter was 1-1 with two RBIs and two runs and Emily Burggraff drove in another run.

PRB 13, Red Lake 1

PINE RIVER-Sydney Davidson was 2-3 with one run, a double and three RBIs during the Pine River-Backus Tigers 13-1 Upper Mississippi Conference win over the Red Lake Warriors Monday.

Lindsey Tulenchik finished 1-2 with two runs, a double and two RBIs for the Tigers and Miah Hansen tallied one run, a triple and an RBI.

Hansen earned the win in relief of Jada Olivier. Hansen entered in the third with the bases loaded and one out. PR-B's ace then struck out the next two batters to get out of the inning.

She finished with five strikes, one walk and no runs on no hits over 2 ⅔ innings of work.

Pequot loses 2

PEQUOT LAKES-A combined 12 errors and numerous runners left on base was how Pequot Lakes head coach Bret Sergent described his team's 18-3 and 11-5 Mid-State Conference losses to Detroit Lakes Monday.

Taylor Olson-Finley finished 3-3 with a double and a run scored in Game One for Pequot. In Game two, Kenzie Nelson went 2-4 with a triple and a run scored.

During the second game, Pequot had the bases loaded and no outs in the fourth and didn't convert a run. In the sixth, it was bases loaded and two out, but the result was the same.
