WADENA -Brooke Hunstad pitched a 3-hit complete game, went 3-for-4 and tallied three RBIs during the Pillager Huskies' 21-0 Park Region Conference win in Game Two of their Park Region Conference doubleheader against the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines Thursday. Abby Brooks pitched a complete game with seven strikeouts during Game One in which the Huskies defeated the Wolverines 13-7. She also went 2-for-4 at bat, recording a double and three RBIs.
Kylie Woidyla went 3-for-5, hit a double and registered two RBIs for the Huskies in Game One, and Samantha Thomas went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs in Game Two.
Top hitter for the Wolverines was Lauren Soroko going 2-for-3 and recording two RBIs in Game One.

The Gobblers outhit the Dragons 13-10. Carmen Ferdelman and Taylor Ehnstrom each recorded two hits. Butenhoff earned the win, and also drove in three runs, as the Gobblers improved to 2-2 in conference play.

PIERZ-It was feast or famine at the plate for Pierz Thursday as the Pioneers collected nine hits in Game One, while getting just four in Game Two.
Brianna Meyer was Pierz's hitting star in Game One going 3-4 with two RBI in a 15-11 defeat. Ella Kalusche went 2-4 and Lizzy Carson scored three runs.
Kalusche went 1-2 with and had the lone Pioneers RBI in a 2-1 loss in Game Two. Meyer, Carson, and Taylor Cummings each recorded hits for Pierz.
