Hailey Hudalla pitched all seven innings and struck out eight in the win for the Raiders.

BHV scored three runs on only two hits to reach the championship game of the winner’s bracket.

SEBEKA — Ramsey Tulenchik went 3-6 with a double and triple as the No. 4 seeded Pine River-Backus Tigers defeated the No. 3 seeded Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves 14-11 in nine innings in the Section 5-1A loser’s bracket Friday, June 4.

Tulenchik added five RBIs for the Tigers in the win. Rylee Norman went 2-4 with three RBIs including a double.

Annabelle Knapp tallied two doubles in the win. Victoria Koering drove in the go-ahead run in the ninth on a groundout.

Jaime Johnson earned the win and pitched all nine innings. She struck out seven and walked six.

Danielle Buroyne, Ramsey Tulenchik, Victoria Koering and Neveah Middendorf all recorded doubles for the Tigers in the loss.
