LITTLE FALLS — Emily Sadlovsky struck out seven over seven innings to pitch the Pierz Pioneers to a 9-0 Granite Ridge Conference victory over the Little Falls Flyers Thursday, April 15.
Sadlovksy scattered two hits and one walk for the Pioneers.
Emma Melby went 1-3 with a double and sacrifice fly. She scored a run and drove in a run. Tori Wagner also hit a double for Pierz.
Avery Threkald and Izzy Dukowitz accounted for the Flyers’ hits.

VERNDALE — Pillager’s Rachel Wilson and Hannah Christle each knocked out home runs as the Huskies defeated the Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale Raiders 11-4 and 12-8 in a Park Region Conference doubleheader Thursday, April 15.
Briana Blais was the winning pitcher in both games. She struck out seven in Game one and struck out eight in Game Two
BHV’s Miranda Line recorded a double in Game One and a triple and two RBIs in Game Two.
Pillager’s Olivia Peterson was 4-5 with three runs and three RBIs in Game Two. Wilson was 3-4 with a run and two RBIs and Blais was 2-4 with three RBIs and a run. Brooklyn Rudrud was 3-4 with two runs.
Blais drove in three runs in the opener. She was 2-4 with a run. Jenna Woidyla finished 2-4 with two runs and two RBIs and Hannah Christle was 2-3 with two RBIs and a run scored.
