AITKIN - Kaley Considine went 3-4 with a single, double and triple in the Aitkin Gobblers 11-3 Great River Conference victory over East Central Tuesday.
Considine also drove in three runs and scored twice. Claire Browning was 2-4 with a double and triple. Taylor Ehnstrom finished 3-4 with a double and two RBIs. Also contributing two hits were winning pitcher Maren Butenhoff and Carmen Ferdelman.

Little Falls wins two
LITTLE FALLS - Linzee Gerads picked up both wins as the Little Falls Flyers swept the Albany Huskies 8-1, 10-6 in a Granite Ridge Conference doubleheader Tuesday.
Kendra Pohlman homered and Katelynn Kaneski went 3-3 with a double and three RBIs in the opener. Marissa Virnig also doubled and Sarah Gold had two hits.
In the nightcap, Chelsea Moran went 3-4 with a pair of doubles, two RBIs and a run and Mikayla Gottwalt finished 3-4 with a double and two runs. Gerads and Virnig had two hits each.

Pequot wins two
PEQUOT LAKES - Kathryn Miska just missed hurling two no-hitters for the Pequot Lakes Patriots, who downed the Pine River-Backus Tigers 2-0 and 13-0 in Tuesday's non-conference doubleheader.
The Patriots' junior pitcher walked just one, while striking out 16 in the opener and struck out 11, while giving one hit and three walks in the five-inning nightcap. Miska has three no-hitters, three one-hit contests and eight shutouts this season.
Hannah Zimmerman doubled and scored a run in Game One and Clare Ganley got her first varsity hit and scored on a sacrifice fly by Jessica Faacks.
Faacks was 2-3 with a double, three runs and two RBIs in Game Two and Barbara Miller was 2-4 with a double and RBI. Caitlyn Carkhuff was also 2-3.
Mckayla Riedel collected the Tigers only a hit, a double, with one out in the fifth and final inning.

Pillager splits
BATTLE LAKE - Pillager's Hailea Books smacked a two-out single in the bottom of the seventh to drive in Autumn Borders for a 6-5 win over Ottertail Central in Game Two of their Park Region Conference doubleheader Tuesday.
Books finished Game Two 2-4 with a double and two runs and Ashley Hanson went 2-4 with a double and two RBIs.
Borders was 2-3 with a double and Summer Alexander doubled, but those were the only three hits the Huskies could muster in a 1-0 loss in the opener.
Lacy Hiltner took the loss pitching all seven innings allowing only three hits and one unearned run that scored on Pillager's only error.

SEBEKA - Jordan Carr pitched two complete games for the Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale Raiders, who defeated the Sebeka Trojans 10-4, 12-7 in Tuesday's Park Region Conference doubleheader.
Jordyn Glenz went 2-4 with a home run, double, four RBIs and two runs in the opener. Sydney Weniger was 2-4 with a double and Michael Powers also doubled. Hannah VanHale and Madison Valley each had two hits.
Elyssa Kern was 2-3 with a double and three runs in Game Two. Kylee Wright also contributed a double.
