PIERZ — Pierz’s Emily Sadlovsky ripped a home run for the Pioneers as they beat the Albany Huskies 5-3 in a Granite Ridge Conference game Thursday, April 29.
Sadlovsky was 2-3 with two runs while Kelsie Cummings was 2-3 with a double, an RBI and a run for the 7-0 Pioneers.
Tori Wagner pitched the victory. She allowed three earned runs on six hits and a walk. She struck out six.
Sadlovsky added a save to her stat list. She didn’t allow a hit or run in one inning of relief.
