Area Softball: Rangers outlast Rush City

RUSH CITY--Caitlyn Gutzman completed a perfect day at the plate going 4-4 with three RBIs to lead Crosby-Ironton to a 14-12 win over Rush City in a non-conference game Friday.

LITTLE FALLS-Kali Mammenga doubled and drove in two runs to lead the Little Falls Flyers to a 3-2 victory over the Jamestown Blue Jays Friday.

Flyers' Jasmine Miller went 2-3 with one run and Megan Kirk and Carly Kapphahn each scored a run.

Allie Steinmetz pitched the victory. She struck out three, walked one and allowed two runs on nine hits.

Pillager wins 2


PILLAGER-Ella Kilchesky pitched Pillager to two Park Region Conference victories, 12-6, 8-3, over the Menahga Braves Friday.

Savannah Sprau finished 3-6 with two RBI and Sam Macheel collected three hits as Pillage. Kilchesky struck out 10 batters in the Game One win.

In Game Two, Kylie Woidyla and Samantha Thomas each notched two hits.
