CROSBY —Teagan Piecek won the long and triple jumps and Raelene Nyberg posted a winning time of 1:04.64 in the 400-meter dash to help the Aitkin Gobblers girls to a victory at the Ranger Invite Friday, April 16.
The Crosby-Ironton Rangers boys team beat Aitkin for the team title by less than a point. Nick Nierenhausen won the pole vault for C-I followed by teammates John Paul Fitzpatrick in second and Ben Smith in third.
Aitkin’s Jaelend Williams won the 100- and 400-meter dashes. Tyler Franke won the 3200 run and Anton Roettele won the high jump
C-I’s Hayley Jones captured the pole vault and Jacey Rydberg won the discus. Rydberg was second in the shot put.
