PERHAM-Reid Pierzinski won four individual events for Pequot Lakes which finished second behind Staples-Motley in the boys competition of the Subsection 23, Section 6-1A meet Thursday.
The Pequot girls captured the team crown by winning six individual events and three relays.
The top five individuals and top two relays advance to Thursday's Section 6-1A meet at Glenwood.
Pierzinksi topped the podium in the 200-meter dash, 110 and 300 hurdles and triple jump.
First-place finishers for SM boys were Chase Davis (100 dash), Emmet Anderson (3200 run), Max Giza (pole vault) and the 4x100 relay (Jordan Carlson, Cael Sams, Zac Carlson, Chase Davis).

Samuel Moore was a double winner (shot and discuss) for Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale and Brett Jansen was first in the 400 for the Raiders.
The Pillager boys won three relays: 4x200 (Logan Gjovik, Ben Oie, Dylan Loftis, Tucker Peterson); 4x400 (Luke Woidyla, Brenna Bordwell, Levi Nagel, Colton Hardy); and 4x800 (Carson VanVickle, Bordwell, Nagel, Hardy)
Multiple-first place winners for the Pequot girls were Adelaide Hubbard (100 hurdles and triple jump) and Desera Engholm (shot and discus). Grace McGuire won the 400 dash and Carly Chaney turned in the fastest time for the 1600 run.
The Patriots also won three relay races: 4x200 (Mirjana Ganley, Kristin Skog, Cassidy Chaney, McGuire); 4x400 (McGuire, Skog, Cassidy Chaney, Lydia Hubbard); 4x800 (Cassidy Chaney, Skog, Carly Chaney, Lydia Hubbard)
Jordyn VanVickle (200 dash) and long jump) and Julia Johnson (high jump and pole vault) posted firsts for Pillager. Alyssa Thompson (800 run) and Kira Sweeney (3200 run) were respective winners for BHV and SM.

PERHAM-Wadena-Deer Creek's Jonathan Pantages won the high jump and Cody Wheeler the pole vault to lead the Wolverines to second place in the Subsection 22, Section 6-1A meet Thursday.
Pantages, Bereket Loer, Isaac Hale and Chase Domier recorded a win in the 4x100-meter relay, while Pantages, Loer, Domier and Hunter Hawkins tallied wins in the 4x200 and 4x400 relay.
The Wolverine girls were third with Mikaela Malone winning the 100, Kennedy Gravelle the 3200 and Ellie Miron the discus.
