BRAHAM — Teagan Piecek won the long and triple jump and Savannah Holm won the 100 hurdles for the second-place Aitkin Gobblers girls team Tuesday, May 11, at the Braham Invite.
The Aitkin boys also placed second with Anton Roettele winning the high jump with a 5-foot-6 effort. Aitkin’s 4x800 relay of Breckyn Williams, Tyler Franke, Clayton Purdy and Lucas Moen also captured a win.
On the girls side, Aitkin’s 4x100 relay of Piecek, Raelene Nyberg, Charlotte Olesen and Kelsi Welle posted a first-place time of 54.05.
Madison Hamilton was second in the 400 dash as was Kira Hamilton in the 3200 run.
Roettele was second in the 110 hurdles with Jacob Williams finishing second in the 200 dash and Franke in the 3200 run.

Joseph Buisman was second in the high jump and Jack Grell tied for second in the long jump.
Marin Henke posted two third-place finishes in the shot and discus followed by Ethan Kunz in fourth (shot put) and fifth (discus).
