PIERZ — Pierz’s Ashley Kimman won the 100- and 300-meter hurdles and the high jump as the Pioneer girls won a quadrangular meet Thursday, April 29.
Victoria Mitchell won the shot put and placed second in the discus while Chloe Lochner won the 800 run and placed second in the 3200. Brekanda Lashinski was second in the high jump and the Pioneer girls placed second in the 4x200 and the 4x800 relays.
The Pioneer boys were third with Kolby Brezinka winning the discus and placing second in the 100 dash and the shot put.
Jonathan Cheney was second in the 110 and 300 hurdles while the Pioneer boys won the 4x100 relay and placed second in the 4x200 relay.

W-DC girls win
WADENA — Amber Collins won the 200-meter dash and the 1600 run to lead the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines girls to first in a quadrangular meet Thursday, April 29.
The W-DC boys placed second as Aidan Larson won the long and triple jumps and Cole Dunker won both hurdle events and placed second in the long jump.
MJ Lunde won the 400 dash and Charlie Bushlinger the pole vault.
Isabella Larson won both the high jump and the pole vault. Kira Sweeney won the 400 Dash. Madison Packer captured the 300 hurdles and Lauryn Gravell the discus.
