WADENA — Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale’s Aidan Bryniaraki won the boys 100-, 200- and 400-meter runs as the Raider Boys placed second with a team score of 64 Friday, April 16.
The Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverine boys were first with a team score of 100.
Cole Dunker of WDC won the 300 hurdles and the long jump, while Adian Larson won the triple jump and the high jump. Charlie Bushilnger gave the Wolverines a win at long jump. Koby Endres won the shot put.
The Raiders also clocked a win at the 3200 run from Brady Rach.
The Wadena-Deer Creek girls were first with a team score of 103 with Isabella Larson winning the high jump and pole vault and Amber Collins winning the 800 run.

The BHV girls took second with a team score of 86. Tess Jones won the long jump and the 200 dash, Kaliyah Brownlow the shot put and discus, Kendra Captain the 100 dash, Michaela Barthel the 100 hurdles and Kaylee Baker the 300 hurdles.
2 third for Pierz
FOLEY — Jonathan Cheney swept the hurdles and won the high jump to lead the Pierz Pioneers boys to a third-place finish Friday, April 16 in Foley.
Carissa Andres won the 1600-meter run and Chloe Lochner captured the 3200 run for the third-place Pierz girls.
Cheney won the 110 hurdles in 18.65 and captured the 300 hurdles in 46.73. He lept 5-foot-4 to win the high jump.
Ethan Kowalczyk was second in the 1600 run and Pierz won the 4x100 relay. Diego Guillen won the pole vault with a 9-0 effort
Brekanda Lashinski posted a second in the 100 dash for the Pierz girls. Kate Leidenfrost was second in the 800 run and Ashley Kimman was second in the 100 hurdles, the high jump and the long jump. Madison Poster placed second in the triple jump.
