Area Volleyball: 9 area players named All Mid-State Conference

Pequot Lakes earned five players to the All Mid-State Conference team highlighted by Lydia Hubbard who was named Mid-State Conference MVP.

Kate Bolz-Andolshek, Rita Ganley, Phoebe Glenn and Ella Pfeiffer were the other Patriots named all conference.

Ally Ehnstrom and Lydia Fellerman were both named all conference for Aitkin. Staples-Motley also received two players in seniors Tabetha Allen and Heidi Lombard. Jacey Rydberg was the lone Crosby-Ironton Ranger named all conference.

Six other area volleyball players were named honorable mention including Kate Pelarski (Aitkin), Mya Decent (C-I), Kallie Papefuss (C-I), Maci Martini (Pequot Lakes), Leah Bestland (S-M) and Morgan Becker (S-M)

Pequot Lakes head coach Chris Ganley was named Mid-State Conference coach of the year.
