Area Volleyball: Staples-Motley come back to win over Bagley

BAGLEY -- Staples-Motley’s Tabetha Allen slammed 18 kills, scooped four digs and tallied a block as the Cardinals defeated the Bagley Flyers 3-1 Monday, Sept. 16.

The Cardinals found themselves down after losing the first set 28-26, but rallied back to take the next three for the win.

Heidi Lombard recorded 23 digs with three assets and a kill while Mackenna Bjerga totaled 41 set assists, nine digs, a kill and four ace serves for Staples-Motley.

WALKER -- Mya Decent tallied 11 kills with 10 digs for the Crosby-Ironton Rangers in a 3-0 loss to the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves Monday, Sept. 16.

Caitlyn Gutzman registered 23 digs and Jacey Ryberg led with 19 set assists for the 9-5 Rangers.
