Area Volleyball: W-DC advances to section final

PERHAM -- Wadena-Deer Creek’s Kennedy Gravelle recorded 24 kills, five blocks, two ace serves and two digs as the No. 1 seeded Wolverines defeated the No. 3 seeded New York Mills Eagles 3-1 Tuesday, Oct. 29 in the South Subsection 6-1A Finals.

Madison Carsten added 12 kills and 18 digs for the Wolverines while Mackenzie Carsten totalled 42 set assists.

W-DC previously defeated New York Mills 3-2 on Oct. 3.
